Finished in an oil rubbed finish this Mediterranean style garage door design has a flare of rustic appeal. Slightly arched at the top to follow the home’s existing arched opening make this garage door design appear to swing out. Other elements that pull the carriage door look together are the four hand-forged iron straps used at the end of each horizontal trim piece. A set of iron pull handles were centrally placed on the vertical trim pieces as part of the carriage door scheme. The real beauty, however, comes from the rough texture and characteristic knots of the select tight knot cedar used to construct this garage door.
